Nikolaos Panousis received his veterinary degree from Thessaloniki in 1994. In 1998 he finished his PhD stydy regarding the “Effect of selenium and vitamin E on antibody production by dairy cows vaccinated against Eschericia coli” at the School of Veterinary Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. From 1998 until 2000 he was a bovine practitioner, until his election as a Lecturer for Ruminants Medicine at the Clinic of Farm Animals of the School of Veterinary Medicine of AUTh. He was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Farm Animal Production Medicine, School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA in 2007 and at Department of Animal Science, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA in 2010. Dr. Panousis authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles (review and research papers) on ruminants’ matters and reviewed manuscripts for more than 17 journals.
