EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Bovine Health Management

Angel Abuelo received his veterinary degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) in 2010. After spending some time as a large animal practitioner, he then completed a MRes and a PhD at USC. He also completed a MSc in Veterinary Education at the Royal Veterinary College (UK). Angel completed his residency between USC and the Clinic for Ruminants of the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich (Germany).
After his training, he joined the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences at Charles Sturt University in Australia as Senior Lecturer in Ruminant (Dairy) Health. In December 2017 he joined the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University (USA) as Assistant Professor of Cattle Health and Well-being, leading a federally-funded research and extension program in bovine health.
Angel passed the certifying exams of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (Dairy Practice Specialty) and the European College of Bovine Health Management.
