The next step was a specialized internship in small animals anaesthesia and analgesia at the Ryan Veterinary Hospital (University of Pennsylvania, USA). I then achieved a standard residency position at the University of Ghent (Belgium). I did work as lecturer in anaesthesia and analgesia at the University of Teramo (Italy) in 2018-2019. I am now working in private practice in Rome (Clinica Veterinaria Borghesiana) as head of the anaesthesia service.
