Dr Anagnostou received his veterinary degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2001 and a PhD in Veterinary Anaesthesiology from the same university in 2005. Prior to joining the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as a Lecturer, then as an Assistant Professor and finally as an Associate Professor of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Dr Anagnostou worked and taught Veterinary Anaesthesiology at the University of Thessaly, Greece. He became a diplomate of the ECVAA in 2021. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications (articles and abstracts), co-authored many translations of relevant chapters of Veterinary textbooks, and reviews manuscripts for national and international journals.
