Julia Fritz received her veterinary degree 2003 at the Veterinary Faculty of the Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich. After receiving her doctorate degree in 2007 (dealing with the allometry of faecal particle sizes in herbivores), she started working as research assistant at the Institute of Animal Nutrition of the Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich. She passed the exams for the german specialisation for nutrition consultation of companion animals in 2007, for animal nutrition and dietetics in 2010 and finally the exam of the ECVCN in 2011. Since 2011 she is self-employed with a practice for small animal nutrition consultation near Munich.
