Dr. Linda Böswald

Linda Böswald graduated in veterinary medicine at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Munich, Germany) in 2016. She finished her doctoral thesis on comparative aspects of calcium and phosphorus metabolism in mammals in 2018 (supervisor Prof. E. Kienzle). Until 2022, she worked as post-doc at the Chair for Animal Nutrition and Dietetics, LMU, where she completed her internship and residency with the European College for Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition, ECVCN (supervisor Dr. B. Dobenecker). Since 2016, she is member of the European Society for Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ESVCN) and was actively involved in the organisaton of two ESVCN conferences (2018 and 2020). In 2019, she passed the board exam on small animal nutrition consultation with the Bavarian Veterinary Association ("Zusatzbezeichnung Ernährungsberatung Kleintier"), followed by the board exam on animal nutrition and dietetics in 2020 ("Fachtierarzt für Tierernährung und Diätetik") in 2020. After finishing her residency, she successfully passed the ECVCN board exams in December 2020, becoming a member of the ECVCN.
Currently, Dr. Böswald is working as a scientist and group leader in the Core Facility Animal Models at the Biomedical Center of the LMU.
