EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Cardiology

Paul is an EBVS European and RCVS Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology. He qualified in 1997 from the Estonian Agricultural University (Currently: the Estonian University of Life Sciences), where he also completed his MSc in 2002. After a period in private small animal practice he returned to his University where he worked as a staff clinician and lecturer. 2010-2013, Paul completed his residency at the Royal Veterinary College in London, and was awarded Master of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Paul continued working at the Estonian University of Life Sciences as a staff clinician and a lecturer of cardiorespiratory medicine until 2015, when he returned to the UK to work as a cardiologist at the Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists referral hospital. He also continues as a lecturer of cardiorespiratory medicine at the Estonian University of Life Sciences. He has been giving CPD courses internationally to train practicing veterinarians in cardiology. Paul has a strong interest in heart failure management, congenital and inherited heart disease and interventional cardiology.
