Tommaso Vezzosi graduated cum laude in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pisa in 2011. He completed a rotational internship at the Clinica Veterinaria Malpensa in 2013, and a cardiology internship at the Istituto Veterinario Novara in 2014. From 2015 to 2017 he held a PhD project on veterinary cardiology at the University of Pisa, where he currently works performing clinical and research activity. In 2016, he started a Residency Programme in Cardiology in collaboration between the Istituto Veterinario di Novara and the University of Pisa, and obtained the status of Diplomate ECVIM-CA (Cardiology) in 2022. In 2020 he also obtained the Italian National Scientific Habilitation as Associate Professor (sector 07/H4). He attended the Cardiology Departments of the Virginia Tech University (USA), the Bristol University (UK), the Ohio State University (USA), the Universidad de Murcia (ES) and the Royal Veterinary College (UK) as professional update. He is author of publications on national and international journals and presented at national and international congresses with the topic of veterinary cardiology. He is also active as speaker/instructor in national courses for professional update.
