Stijn is Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College in London, UK. He is also Past-President of the European Society of Veterinary Endocrinology (www.esve.org). He is involved in under- and postgraduate teaching, running an Internal Medicine Referral Clinic, supervising Internal Medicine residents and many activities surrounding endocrinology clinics and research at the Royal Veterinary College as well as the Medical School in Newcastle. As part of these activities Stijn leads a number of endocrinology clinics, including a dedicated Diabetic and Acromegalic Cat Clinic, a Hypophysectomy Clinic and a Diabetic Remission Clinic (https://www.facebook.com/RVC.Diabetic.Remission.Clinic). Stijn has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications, reviews and book chapters in the field of Internal Medicine and enjoys sharing his experiences at conferences around the world.
