Giulia graduated from the University of Turin in 2014, with a thesis on seizure disorders in bovine. In 2015 she started a combined PhD program-ECVN residency at the same University under the supervision of Prof. Antonio D'Angelo, focusing on the treatment of canine epileptic patients. During this time she performed externships at the Animal Health Trust (UK) under the supervision of Dr. Luisa De Risio and at the North Carolina State University under the supervision of Dr. Natasha Olby. She obtained her PhD degree in 2020 and the Diploma of the ECVN in 2022. She is currently working as a Research Fellow in Neurology at the Department of Veterinary Science of Turin (Italy). Her main interests are epilepsy and spinal diseases.
