Màrian graduated from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She started an eighteen-month rotating internship then moved to England to undertake an ophthalmology internship at the Animal Health Trust that followed with an ophthalmology residency. Màrian then moved to work at the Royal Veterinary College where she was a Lecturer in Ophthalmology and later became the Head of Service. Recently Màrian moved back to Mallorca. She works freelancing in different practices with the aim to improve the ocular health of small animal an equine patients. She is a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmology (DipECVO) and, after completing a postgraduate degree in veterinary education, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
