Bojan Blagojevic received his veterinary degree in 2006 from the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. He immediately started working as a researcher at the Meat Hygiene and Safety Unit of the University. In 2008, he received Master of Science degree in food hygiene and in 2011 he finished his PhD studies in meat hygiene and safety at the University of Novi Sad. He became diplomat in the European College of Veterinary Public Health subspecialty Food Science by examination in 2013.
Since 2018, Dr Blagojevic is appointed as Associate Professor in Meat Hygiene and Safety at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Novi Sad. His main research interests include risk assessment of public and animal health hazards, risk based meat inspection, abattoir process hygiene and meat decontamination.
