EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Wildlife Population Health

I have internationally recognized expertise working with wildlife that I have gained through many years of leadership and research in Europe, Asia and Africa. This has included endeavours in remote locations and multi-cultural environments. Over the past decade, I have also accrued substantial project management experience by successfully leading numerous large research teams on a landscape level with varied funding sources including amongst others the EU and the Austrian Research Fund. As a consultant in environmental issues, I regularly assist diverse organizations including WWF, UNDP, WCS, Panthera, World Bank, and several other GO’s, NGOs and universities with project evaluation, management, training and capacity building. Based on over 20 years of experience in zoological institutions, I also regularly advise zoological institutions on all aspects of animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, collection planning, enclosure design and conservation research.
