Dr. Kramer received her veterinary degree from the University of Parma Veterinary School in Parma, Italy in 1991, and a PhD in veterinary pathology from the same university in 1994. Dr. Kramer became research assistant in Veterinary Parasitology and Parasitic diseases at the University of Parma Veterinary School in 1998 and is currently Associate Professor. Dr. Kramer has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications (articles, abstracts, and book chapters) and reviews manuscripts for a number of journals, as well as serving on the Editorial Board of Veterinary Parasitology. Dr. Kramer served as Board member (2006-2009) and College Secretary (2009-2012) of the European Veterinary Parasitology College and was elected to the role of EBVS Secretary in April 2015.
