As a high profile veterinary Specialist with extensive clinical experience, you will work as part of a management team that includes a Managing Director and a Business Development Manager; and within our multi-disciplinary referral service you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and administration across the centre.
The Clinical Director will help shape the team and will develop the clinical and operational protocols for the business, and this is therefore a great opportunity for the right person to help determine a service that provides the best possible client journey.
With proven experience managing or assistant managing a clinical environment such as a hospital/practice or multiple sites, you will have a proven record of managing and developing a team and the ability to manage and implement business and process improvements. A passion for delivering the best possible service, support & outcomes for patients, customers and colleagues is essential.
Managing specialist-led teams in the disciplines of anaesthesia, medicine, neurology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology and diagnostic imaging, this truly multi-disciplinary specialist service will offer the best levels of patient and client care, whatever the problem may be. As with all our disciplines, the post will include out-of-hours emergency service provision, shared amongst the referral team.
This position will be well remunerated, and the package includes 6.6 weeks' paid holiday including bank holidays and one week of funded CPD each year, a week for approved committee or examining commitments, a non-contributory pension and private healthcare.
We are seeking an experienced oncologist to expand our referral team. The successful applicant will ideally hold a European, American or RCVS Diploma (or equivalent), have had significant exposure to medical oncology cases, and share our aim of providing the best possible levels of care for pets, their owners and referring veterinary surgeons. (Board-eligible candidates will also be considered).

This truly multi-disciplinary specialist service will allow our oncologist to offer the best levels of patient and client care, whatever the problem may be. As with all our disciplines, the post will include out-of-hours emergency service provision, shared amongst the referral team.
