Dick White Referrals is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic small animal Neurologist to join our team of 3 ECVN specialists, 3 ECVN residents and 2 neuro-interns. The successful candidate should hold a relevant Diploma (ACVIM or ECVN), PhD or be eligible to sit the Diploma examination. Part time working, job share and flexible working are all encouraged to ensure a good work/life balance.
The successful candidate will join the rapidly expanding DWR team of RCVS, European and American specialist clinicians in a wide range of disciplines (anaesthesia, cardiology, clinical pathology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, neurology & neurosurgery, physiotherapy, veterinary pathology and soft tissue surgery). DWR has modern equipment including 24/7 availability, in-house clinical and general pathology laboratory, radiography, ultrasonography, fluoroscopy, electrodiagnostic, MRI, CT, CUSA and easy access to radiotherapy.
The brand-new neurological facilities include: 0.4T MRI (Hitachi), electrophysiology unit (Medtronic), CT 16 slice (Philips), CUSA with a full range of neurosurgical equipment and a dedicated neurosurgery theatre, ward and physiotherapy unit. These are supported by a direct access to a new radiation therapy unit. Annual caseload is about 1500 for neurology, 500 for neurosurgery.
