We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us. Full time and part time applications will be considered. You will work with medical investigations, prophylactic treatments, soft tissue surgery and dental surgery depending on skills and interests. You will work together with colleagues, nurses and other staff for the best care and satisfied customers.

Evidensia Djurkliniken Nyköping is a well-established small animal clinic. Since 1979, we have helped animals and their owners with basic animal care, soft tissue surgery, dental care, medical investigations and prophylactic treatments. We have many loyal customers since the late 70's and are pleased to see that new customers are coming to us. The clinic is open during the day Monday to Friday and we plan our days well for the best care and working environment. The clinic is well equipped with, among other things, direct digital X-rays, ultrasound, instruments for eye examinations, dental X-ray and dental unit. Our BMA analyzes most blood, urine and cytology samples directly. During surgery, we have modern monitoring instruments and inhalation anesthesia. Skills development is a natural part of our business. Evidensia Academy provides popular courses and training. An individual development plan is planned for each employee. The veterinarians have a medical round every week and we regularly have workplace meetings where we discuss and improve routines etc. And we have fun at work. The atmosphere and helpfulness is good. Nyköping is a coastal city with 57,000 inhabitants, 100 km (1 hour by car, bus or train) from Stockholm and its own airport. There is plenty of culture, nature and leisure activities.

Our three veterinarians have several years of experience and constantly want to improve their skills. They are really dedicated and loyal and work well with both colleagues and other employees. We have four (five from November) licensed nurses and two animal keepers, also those with long experience and a really competent receptionist. Lotta is in the lab, our BMA which serves with fast, qualitative test results and also helps the veterinarians with certain administrative tasks. A orthopedist and ophthalmologist come regularly.

We are now looking for more veterinarians. You need to be thorough, able to cooperate and be empathetic, competent and responsive. You are welcome to have experience of small animals, but we also welcome you who have recently graduated. For us, it is important that you enjoy us and the work and that we enjoy you. Of course we share values.

As a BAME and LGBT+ inclusive employer, we are keen to hear from candidates from all minority and diverse groups.
