Imaging facilities include a 64 slice Siemens CT scanner with cardiac software, 1.5T Hallmarq PetVet MRI (to be replaced with a new 1.5T scanner within the next 2 years), Samsung RS80, GE Logiq 9, Vivid iq and Vivid E95 ultrasound machines, Canon direct digital radiography and Philips C-arm digital fluoroscopy. You will work alongside two ECVDI board eligible radiologists, two ECVDI resident, and a support team including radiographer, imaging intern and imaging nurse. You will work closely with diplomates (or residents in training) in Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Anaesthesia and Dermatology.
The practice actively encourages both the giving and receiving of CPD to further the education of their employees with an allowance of up to £5000 and 10 days to achieve this. Full time or part time applicants will be considered.
Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists is a multidisciplinary referral centre currently undergoing extensive expansion and improvement of the facilities. The practice is located in the South of England within the New Forest National Park and South Coast offering easy access to a multitude of outdoor activities. The area offers good access to regional and international airports and has excellent road and rail links to London.
Applicants should be Diplomates of the ECVDI or ACVR and should be members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
